Hi this is Dibakar and I am using macbook pro 13 inch mid 2012 model . My MBP is running on 10.12.6 and it is running very slow . is it a good idea to upgrade it to 10.13 . Will this upgrade help my MBP regain it's speed which it used to provide with the earlier versions of mac os like (ex-maverick/yosemite) .. Please any expert ans me ASAP .Thanks in advance

If your MBP has only 4GB RAM you should not update you machine again as it will continue to slow down.
If it has more than 4GB RAM it could be running slow for other reasons. Either way run an etrecheck and post the report here so we can take a look.
Uninstall BitTorrent. Torrents are a great way to collect malware, it hides in the downloads and you'd never know it was there. Uninstall Clean for Memory. No so-called "cleaners" are necessary or recommended for Mac OS.
I suspect that the main problem is insufficient RAM. You can check the modules you need with the advisory tool in Crucial, or OWC.Both reliable vendors.
Also, keep an eye on your hard disk space and don't let available space get too low. Since you are not using Time Machine what is your backup strategy?
A MBP with 4GB RAM running Sierra is bound to be slow. You should definitely look into upgrading the hardware of you MBP before the OS again. This will give you significant performance increase.

It's never a good idea to upgrade when you are having problems. Upgrades tend to exacerbate pre-existing issues. First fix what's wrong, then upgrade.

No, fix the problem before you upgrade your Mac, not the other way around.
