Its a scam. Apple will never address you as Dear Customer, and yes the poor grammar is also a giveaway.

Send the e-mail to Apple as an attachment to a new e-mail before deleting it. Apple will always address you by your name or the name they have on file for you and the e-mail will be from @apple.com.
Please do not post your personal email address in a public forum where anyone can see it, unless you want lots of spam and phishing attempts like the one you posted.
I've asked the hosts to edit out your email address.
And yes, the email is a scam, report it to Apple, and delete it.

I received an email purportedly from Apple saying my icloud account has been compromised I suspect that this is a phishing scam based on the poor spelling and lack of Apple identification.
