PowerPoint not working properly; iPad Pro 2012; iOS 11.0.3

Microsoft PowerPoint opens appropriately, but I cannot edit text. It takes forever for the cursor to appear, and is super sluggish—to the point that it’s not worth using it on my new iPad Pro 2nd generation. Is this happening with anyone else?
