FileMaker Pro not working after upgrade to High Sierra.
I am using a MacBook Pro (13 Inch, Mid 2012), 2.9 GHz Intel Core i7, 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 with a 500 GB hard drive (not original to the computer as that crashed).
I just recently upgraded to Mac OS High Sierra Version 10.13 and am attempting to use FileMaker Pro 13 Advanced.
My issue is that I am completely unable to use the program since the upgrade. I work for a newspaper distribution company and use FileMaker Pro for storage of drivers lists. The lists automatically store in the order that they are entered into the list (by date created) and not in order of the numbers I have them stored in. Before the upgrade, I could use command s or go to the menu bar to records, then select sort records to put the lists in order of number. Now when I do this it closes all windows and quits the entire program. Almost as if I have hit command q.
I am unable to do my job on this computer as a result of this and I am extremely frustrated by it. I really hope Apple works to get all the issues with this new OS fixed. I regret upgrading so early on and wish I could go back to my previous operating system. I know this is possible but a little past my technical expertise...
If anybody has any idea how to get around this or any suggestions on how to fix this I would appreciate the feedback. Thank you!
