No, all you showed is is that the glass is not unbreakable. Your picture, in and of itself, says nothing about general durability. That phone fairly obviously suffered a significant impact against an edged or sharp object. There is nothing in "the most durable glass ever in a smartphone" that is belied by what you've shown.
"withstand" is the operable word here. It resists damage... doesn't mean it won't break.
How did you break it?

I'm not talking about unbreakable(read the post careful). The glass is damaged, which is means that is not that durable.
That’s not only nonsense it’s not even a rational statement. Even the most durable objects or materials can be damaged.
Glass breaks if you drop it far enough, any glass.
I'm not talking about unbreakable(read the post careful). The glass is damaged, which is means that is not that durable.
How durable is "that durable" Can it be quantified in any coherent manner?
No, it does not mean it is "not that durable". It means you are careless with breakable objects.

why would i need an apple care if it is "The most durable glass ever in a smartphone, front and back."
In the event you damaged the device you would not need to pay the full cost of repair if you chose to get it repaired.
Break pads are durable, so are car tires; did you even need to get them changed?
What damage and for how long? You have unreasonable expectations about what kind of durability can be expected from glass. Yes, the iPhone 8 has more durable glass than other phones. But, no matter what you want to believe, it doesn't mean "unbreakable". If Apple thought the glass was unbreakable, they would have said so. They did not.
"Durable" and "unbreakable" are not, in fact, synonyms in English.
why would i need an apple care if it is "The most durable glass ever in a smartphone, front and back."
Because, as I noted, "durable" does not mean "unbreakable".
i know that, just want to share that "The most durable glass ever in a smartphone, front and back." is not that durable. 😕
It's glass, why would you assume it's unbreakable?
