I received a message in my email stating my account would be suspended If i didn't log in. However the site I tried to click on on the INFORMATION update box didn't come up and said it was forbidden.
Clearly a fake!

It's a scam. Any email from Apple will address you by name and the sent from address will be @apple.com.
It's addressed to my email address. It's not addressed to my name. Here's what it says
Email ID ****@yahoo.com
There was a problem account information!
As part of our Security Agreement we have disabled your Apple ID.
Please review all the personal and security information in your account. You can re-active your account by following our instructions.
If we do not hear from you within 48 hours, your iCloud will be suspended and any saved accounts and information will be lost.
We apologize for the inconvenience and hope to hear from you soon.

Thanks. It looks legit. it's addressed to me and it said @ apple support.
Is it addressed to your name, or your email address? @apple support is not a valid Apple email address.
Apple does not suspend accounts for not logging in.
That's what I thought.
I asked for your email address to be edited. It's not a good idea to post your email in public forums.
