changing URL link colors in Pages

I would like a way to change the color of links in Pages so that they default to blue not black. I know how to go to an individual link and change it's color but I want to just change the behavior so that links default to blue. I can't see a way to do that. If it doesn't change the existing links that's OK, I can do those one by one, but what I'm hoping is that there is a way so I don't have to do this manually going forward.

Start with a blank document, where you enter a word, make it a default link, and then change the link color from the Font Panel. Then you visit the Character Style panel, pass your pointer over the Link style entry, and click on the '>' character. Select Redefine from Selection from the sub-menu. Now, you have a Link Character Style set to your preferred link color, and you can save this document as a Template for future Pages documents.
