Is there a way to create a simple HTML file on my iPad, save it and open it in Safari?

Just for demo purposes for my weekly volunteer class, is it possible to create a simple .html file on my iPad, save it somewhere, and then open the file in Safari?

If possible, I'd like to use standard tools that don't require downloading extra apps, like Memos, and the new Files App, and Safari.

But if necessary adding free apps would be ok.

I tried using Readdle Documents and could create a text file and save it with the name myhomepage.html, but I can't access it with a browser, and if I open it up again it is just the text I'm looking at.

The purpose of this is to just demonstrate what .html files are and give the students a tiny (like 10 minute) taste of what HTML is. We won't be using this for actually developing web pages. It's just a demo.

Any suggestions?
