Why does my iPhone 7 Plus beep repeatedly when being charged?

Software is up to date on my iPhone 7 Plus-11.0.3. When charging the phone, it dings often. Sometimes it dings repeatedly. Sometimes there’s a few seconds in between dings.

Sometimes it’s silent like it should be! I have turned off most everything to the apps on my phone. I have turned the phone off and then back on again, but that doesn’t help. What is wrong with this phone and how can it be fixed? This 7 Plus Phone is the 3rd or maybe the 4th iPhone I have owned, and it is the worst one!

Possibly the charger is not making good contact. That could be caused by the charger cable head itself, so try a different charger. It's also possible that the cause is debris in the Lightning port on the phone, which you can try delicately cleaning out. If neither one is the case, the phone may have a defect, which you should have checked out by Apple: http://getsupport.apple.com.

Hoping this works longterm. Not really sure how to clean the charger cable head and lightning port, but I blew into the port and rubbed the charger cable head with a soft cloth, which seemed to help. I'll know for sure if doing this solved the issue after the next charge. Thank you for your input. It was truly appreciated!
