*sigh* How do I permanently show the Library folder in High Sierra? I go there often enough I want it up all the time. There used to be a UNIX command to undo this 'feature' but it doesn't seem to work anymore. I know about the view menu with the option held, but that's a pain. I know enough not to mess with what I don't know and I'm an adult. Can I please have access to my own computer?

Click on your Users folder, and from there click on Show View Options and select Show Library Folder. Same as it ever was.
Thanks for the responses but I am truly not seeing it. This is what I'm seeing. Am I missing a step somewhere?
click on your home folder called scottnash in the sidebar and the show view options will give you the option
It's just not showing up on my system. I have Use Relative Dates, Calculate all Sizes and Show Icon Previews. That's it. Very strange.
You have to open it in Column view not List view. Same as it ever was.
You have to select the Homefolder in Finder (in any view),
then select "Show view options" and check the "Show Library Folder"
There is also a Terminal command for it, but you don't need that.
Select your Home/User folder and press "Command + J". Check "Show Library Folder".
Sorry. I should have mentioned selecting the Home folder in the Finder Sidebar.
