My MFi compatible hearing aids (Oticon opn) do not connect to the Watch 3 cellular. The Watch 3 Bluetooth does not recognize my hearing aids Bluetooth, and will not pair directly to the Watch, even tho they do pair with the iPhone.

No, I am not using Remote Link. Does Remote Link require having the iPhone with you when making or receiving cellular phone calls on the Watch 3? My goal is to leave my iPhone at home, and still receive cell calls on my watch, transmitted through my hearing aids, without the need for iPhone or WiFi connectivity. Will Remote Link do this?

Please remember that Bluetooth will not connect your hearing aids and your Apple Watch. I can answer and make calls from my Apple Watch without my iPhone but it is not connected Bluetooth to my hearing aids. That will always, so far, only work with the iPhone. It will be great if our hearing aids can Bluetooth to our Apple Watch.

I downloaded and installed RemoteLink, but when it detected my Oticon OPN Hearing Aids, it said that RemoteLink is incompatible with my Oticon model. It is interesting, though, that the RemoteLink v1.4 app looks identical to my v1.4 Oticon ON app, that does not work with the cellular feature in my Watch 3. Cell phone calls to my watch only go thru my hearing aids when my watch is in Bluetooth range of my iPhone 7+ 😟 . But thanks for the suggestion. Maybe the Oticon On app will eventually function like RemoteLink.
