Not receiving the 6 digit code to deregister iMessage to be able send messages from my android phone

If you tried to deregister iMessage online and didn't get a confirmation code
If you entered your phone number to deregister iMessage online but didn't get a confirmation code, check these things:
- Make sure that you entered your number correctly.
- Open the messaging app on your phone and look for the message. The phone you're using might not show a notification when you get a text message.
- Ask your carrier if they allow people to send SMS texts to your phone number using short codes. If you transferred your phone number recently, you might not be able to get SMS/MMS messages until your carrier updates your information.
If you enter the wrong confirmation code too many times
If you enter the wrong code too many times, you won't be able to get a new one for about 24 hours. Make sure you enter the code from the most recent text message.
If you get a message that says Apple can't remove your phone number from iMessage
Contact Apple Support to deregister iMessage.
