Desktop and Documents folder not showing in the iPhone SE.

Actually, I have not, because my Documents folder is around 100 GB. So that explains why I can't see it.

OK, the problem solved itself: after around 24 hours, the folders are visible – it seems just that iCloud Drive was slow, very slow… So my advice for everyone with the same problem: just wait a day or two…

My iPhone 7 Plus does not show Desktop or Documents folders. I think the difference is iOS devices only show files that can be opened on the device, which requires an app that can open the file. It's not the model of the phone; it's what apps are installed on it.

I think you may be right for the iCloud Drive's apps folders (for example the "Pages"-folder), those only get displayed on the device if you have the actual app (for example "Pages") installed, however, the Desktop and Documents folders are shown on any device. The new Files app works perfectly on my iPad Pro, displaying both folders. So I am pretty sure it's a bug (or I missed some switch in the preferences?).

I'm having this issue but with an iPhone X running 11.2.

The "Desktop & Documents Folders" setting is enabled on my Mac and I can see and browse the folders in the iCloud drive on icloud.com. But the folders are not to be found on my phone. They were present in 11.1, but not in 11.2.

I've tried the waiting approach, but the wait has been several days now. One might assume if they're visible on icloud.com they'd be ready enough for visibility in iOS as well.

Unfortunately, I don't have an iPad or other iOS for comparison, i.e. to see if it's iOS or device specific.
