High Sierra VirtualBox Problem

Hi Everyone,

I'm trying to run a VirtualBox virtual machine on High Sierra. The vm runs Windows xp. The setup has worked fine until I updated to High Sierra. Now when I run the vm, as soon as it starts it grabs the USB controller and turns off bluetooth. As I have bluetooth keyboard and mouse all I can do is force a reboot by powering off and on again.

I have the latest version of VirtualBox and have installed the latest extension pack. I have also tried empty usb filter and Apple Inc Bluetooth USB Host Controller. Details below.

Nothing seems to work, any ideas much appreciated,

Cheers,

Thanks dialabrain. I didn't post but I read all the stuff on the virtual box forum on usb problems. Then realised that because my mouse was disabled I could not install the windows driver for the Apple Inc Bluetooth controller. Went and found my wife's old corded mouse in the junk box in the garage, et voila! After a bit of clicking the windows driver wizard all was well. The system still says bluetooth is not available but keyboard and mouse work both in the vm and host! When I close the vm bluetooth returns and keyboard and mouse reconnect.

Cheers,

Dave. D.
