lost the reply text bar on only one group message

I just lost the reply text bar on only one group message. It has been working and then today, I cannot reply to any of the messages from this group only. All other messages groups and single messages work fine. I have restarted the iphone and tried shutting on and off the message app and it still doesn't appear.

I was able to message this group from my mac but am not able to from the phone.

Any other suggestions would be appreciated

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. It's my understanding that the option to reply is missing in one group message. You've done a great job trying to get this resolved! I'm happy to help.

I recommend deleting the conversation and starting a new one. Please follow the steps below:

Open Messages and find the conversation that you want to delete.

Swipe left over the conversation.

Tap Delete.

When you delete a message, you can't recover it. If you want to save parts of a message, take a screenshot. To save an attachment in a message, touch and hold the attachment, tap More, then tap Save.
