No Apple Watch App Logo's???

Since upgrading to WatchOS4 I've noticed that when I get a notification from some apps such as Snapchat or Facebook, that it only shows a white square above instead of the actual yellow Snapchat logo or blue Facebook logo. I have my watch set up to 'mirror my phone' as I always have but have noticed this issue occurring since upgrading. Could this be a compatibility issue with WatchOS4 and the new iPhone 8 Plus or IOS 11.3? Is it simply because there is no Snapchat or Facebook App for Apple Watch, or is this a fault or incompatibility issue?

I have attached an image of what mean and you can see in the red circle I have drawn, that the app logo doesn't exist.

Hi

Other users are experiencing the same issue with various apps.

It may help to install any available update on your iPhone (in the App Store app > Updates) for the app(s) to which the affected notifications relate.

It may also help to unpair and re-pair your Apple Watch (one user has reported that this resolved the issue for them):

Hi Jonathan,

Thank you for this information. I think will report the issue to Apple as my iPhone 8 Plus is brand new and is the second iPhone 8 Plus I have had given some faults with the first one. Given this, the watch has been paired and unpaired numerous times on the two handsets and the problem remains, yet when is paired to my iPhone 7 was functioning fine. I will keep sifting through the community as I couldn’t find others with this issue so may have a look through as well.

Once again, thank you as it’s reassurig to hear that it’s not necessarily something I have done wrong and may be it is a compatibility issue.
