I am running iOS 11.1 on an iPhone 6, and want to set up Apple Pay in my iMessage app (wallet and Apple Pay are already set up). I am unable to see the Apple Pay app in the App Drawer, though. I do have Restrictions turned on for in-app purchases and wanted to know if this was the issue or if there is another reason that Apple Pay is not appearing in the App Drawer.

Apple Pay Cash is currently not available outside of the beta software program.
Apple advises that the fact that the release notes for iOS 11.2 suggested that the feature had launched unfortunately amounted to a jumping of the gun.
Apple Support currently advises that the feature will begin rolling out in the US early next week.
I would have upgraded to 11.2 anyways, but it’s just stupid they didn’t change the release notes. I guess Apple having to push out 11.2 in the middle of the night due to He latest bug might be the reason. Apple is seriously dropping the ball lately. What will the next bug be? Will put $1149 phones start bursting into flames on their own?!? I wouldn’t be surprised. Watch your coding Apple!

Not exactly iOS 11.1, it was scheduled to be released in a "future update". We will have to wait until Apple announces it.
Just upgraded to 11.2 and it is not showing up in iMessage or the Wallet app either. Tried to add it in the Wallet from settings and nothing.
I wouldn't have bothered to upgrade to 11.2 if I knew the Apple Pay Cash was not available yet. Change your release notes.

In my case, working fine on iPhone but not appearing in iPad Pro.
Live on my iPhone but not yet on the iPad. I'll give it a day or two before getting frantic ...
