i get an error trying to play a web tv program: loading media file could not be played

I have an iPhone 7 running on iOS 11.1

My problem is that when I try to watch a TV web program from a particular TV station, I get : "Error loading media: File could not be played".

However, when I go to play the same web program from the same TV station on my laptop (operating on Windows 10) it runs with no problem.

Can you help?
