Thinking of using iCloud Drive for storage of about 500GB's of photos. Can I use the photo editor in HighSierra to edit these without importing them into Photos?

Hi Eric, thanks for the suggestion. Ive got 500GBs of photos to be stored and if I put them into Photo Library wont they sync with my iphone and ipad? If this was the case I wouldnt have enough room on these devices??
Why don't you want to use Photos and iCloud Photo Library?
