Evidently you are on a pay-as-you-go plan, and that is one of the features of the plan. Only they can explain that, and whether or not you can stop the message.

whenever i send a text message a pop up appears sayinr "O2: Your balance is £x.xx". Does anyone get this and if so how do i stop it from happening everytime i send a text message.
