On the previous iPhones with Touch ID, we were able to unlock our phone without pressing the home button after getting recognized by Touch ID.
I’m missing this feature on the new IPhone X with Face ID. I would love to be able to unlock my phone without swiping up.
What do you guys think about this?

I suspect not that many people are upset by this. Look at the number of posters here and now almost two weeks into folks having an iPhone X, even this thread isn't very populous.
Plus of the comments many don't see this as a problem even worth talking about.
