Pace vs Average Pace

Does the Series 3 only track average pace, not the pace I am running at the time i look at my watch?

Hi

When recording running and walking workouts via the Workout app, Apple Watch can be configured to display both Current Pace and Average Pace.

To have both metrics shown on the screen whenever it is woken during the workout:

  • On your iPhone, in the Watch app, go to: My Watch (tab) > Workout > Workout View > Multiple Metric > select your workout type (for example, Outdoor Run).
  • Tap Edit (upper-right) > select up to five metrics, including Current Pace and Average Pace > tap Done (upper-right).
