Is there a way to delete an app from Purchase history instead of hiding it? When going through my history of apps, there are some I do not remember downloading and some I wish to remove from my history altogether because I no longer use them.

You can't delete items from the Purchaed history. You can't pretend that you didn't buy something.
You may hide things from the history;
