Lighting to VGA adapter compatibility with IOS11

Hey there, I need to know if the lighting to VGA adapter is compatible with IOS11.1. I use my iPad pro for work, and I usually connect it to a projector, but recently, I´ve heard rumors about that this adapter does not work with the new operative system. If not, please let me know what can I do for connect my iPad to a projector. Thanks!

Have you considered Air server - we use that for our devices, you install it on your class PC (or device thats connected to your projector) from there you can wirelessly mirror any ipad or iphone to the board. I use it to showcase student work. As its wireless you can also mirror the ipad then open the camera app to use the ipad as a visualiser.
