New iphone user. Since my iphone has just 32 GB in it, i’m having storage issues with it! what do you suppose i should do? back up all my photos at google photos (which is free) or back up at icloud (which has 5GB limit)?

It all depends on which service you prefer overall. iCloud for photos makes things rather easy in regards to accessing them easily from your Apple devices. If you feel that you will exceed the 5GB limit, then you may want to look at potentially upgrading to the 50GB plan which is only $0.99 a month. It is well worth it in my opinion.
