does imovie for macbook pro supports 4k60 files?

I just bought YI 4K Plus camera. I record mp4 files in 4k 60fps. Does iMovie support that frame rate at that resolution?

Actually, I see that you can record your own 4k60fps clips, so you could simply import one into iMovie and see if it supports editing and sharing out. iMovie sets the resolution and frame rate of a project by the first clip placed into the project. After importing the clip you can check the settings by clicking on the settings button above the timeline to the right of your screen, and view the settings and frame rate at the top of the box that appears when you click on the settings button. See if it says 4K60. If so, you can share out the movie and in the share options box you can see what settings are available for sharing out. If it shows 4K 60fps as one of the options, you are good to go.

Hey Rich. Thanks for reply. Weird stuff with imovie but it's all sorted now. Even though imovie states '4K' when You edit 4K60 clips and it exports them as '4K' - they actually are 4K60! iMovie does support 4K60 files but it doesn't state that and marks them as 4K only. When sent to YouTube it takes a while to render but in the end we've got 4K60 files exported. Here's example::
