iPhone X notifications not working

Hi!

I have new iPhone X that got installed today (migrated from iPhone 7).

Even in settings notifications are enabled and configured.

Some of them are working and majority are not. Notifications comes to iWatch, but iPhone doesn't even produce sound or vibrate - nothing.

When I pick it up, I see notification in notification centre. I tested with messages and e-mails.

Any suggestions?

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities. I see from your post that notifications are coming to your lock screen, but you're not hearing any alert to let you know they are there. I depend on my phone to let me know when someone or some app has tried to contact me. I am happy to help.

It sounds like you might have Do Not Disturb enabled on your new iPhone X. The following article has more information on this feature, including how to disable it: Use Do Not Disturb on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

Why does the X always silenced itself when I don’t silence it? I don’t understand. #1, I never use DND. I just migh as we’ll go back to my Samsung.

After dealing with apple support and spoke to the 8th person. Finally they factory reset my phone and everything went back to normal. For how long? We’ll see.

Save all your stuff in iCloud and do a factory reset from your laptop. That fixed mine.

I have this problem too but Do Not Disturb is not selected.

My iphone x notifications also do not work from time to time when a non-iphone is texting me. Very frustraiting.

I upgraded from a 7+ to a iphone 10 yesterday and already had a newer series 3 watch. I cant get text messages on my watch now and cannot figure it out.
