Video playback is blocked because of an active screen recording or screen mirroring

Trying to mirror from iPad to Apple TV and keep getting message “video playback is blocked because of an active screen recording or screen mirroring”?

If you are having issues mirroring your iPad to your Apple TV, try restarting both devices to refresh them. Additional troubleshooting steps can be found here:

same problem, cant find an answer anywhere. only started when sling did an update. but im also using an hdmi to lighting jack adapter which has worked fine untill now
