Iphone x live wallpaper not working? Ideas?

So I encountered the same problem when I first received my phone, however you simply have to make sure your 3D touch is enabled.

Go to Settings > General > Accessibility > 3D touch. After enabling it your live pixtures should work properly

Even i had this problem first.

The thing is live wallpaper doesn’t work in home screen, so don’t waste ur time researching on it.

But yes it works on the lock screen.

If u r having iPhone X, there will be a flashlight and a camera at the left and right bottom respectively, have u ever tried tapping them.

It doesn’t work that way, by tapping or gently holding. You have to put a little more force and hold firmly, it works.

First try the flashlight and camera, if it works then the same goes with the Live wallpaper.

I was searching on here to figure out how to fix mine and I fixed it!

The problem was I wasn’t pushing hard enough or with enough of my finger to enable 3D Touch (not a fan)

I tried to push harder and it actually started working. I usually lightly touch my screen.

Go to settings>general>accessibility>3D touch and turn the sensitivity to low and try it with your whole thumb on the lock screen.

Personally, not a fan of Live Wallpapers, mainly because they don't really do much even when they work. And to make it work (note: it only works on the lock screen to begin with) you have push harder on your screen for the Wallpaper to actually move.

I think the problem is people see the TV commercials where the wallpaper is moving all on its own. In reality, it simply doesn't work that way. You have to push hard on the screen to get the wallpaper to move.

You have to press down on the lock screen firmly too get the wallpaper to move. It will NOT play automatically. The harder you press to faster the animation will play.

I hate 3D Touch but maybe in the next update the wallpaper will move on its own

Figured out how it will work. Just need to adjust the 3D sensibility to "light", and press a little bit harder on the screen on lock mode or in preview.

On IPhone 8, I had to press and hold down harder than I thought I would need. It worked then. When I just rested my finger upon the screen, nothing happened. When I applied a more forceful press, it proceeded to animate.

I have the same problem. Tried using Apple support but went around in circles for ten minutes! I have 3D touch enabled,

Battery low power mode off. Live photo 'ON'. I have tried stills, resets, all sorts and still it doesn't work!

It works ok in the wallpaper settings but as soon as I set it to Lock and Home screen, nothing moves it!

I have just noticed that my Live photo is now not working either although it is set to 'ON'.

Just booking a Guru...maybe they can help????

I've done ALL the suggested tasks in order to get the live wallpapers to work...still nothing. I have the iPhone x iOS 11.2. I can't even get the preview of the live wallpapers to work in settings. And when I choose a live wallpaper and then view on my lock screen it acts like a perspective image.
