iPhone X Delivery schedule got push out for no reason

Has any one experience the same issue as me?

I pre-order my iPhone X on the 27th mid night and lucky enough the order went through and receive confirmation email from Apple says my scheduled date is Nov 3 the first day launch. Everything looks fine and I have checked my order daily and all been on track for Nov 3rd. Guess what, yes, the phone did not arrive and the schedule got push out to Nov 17 - 24th. WHAT?!~ I call Apple at 3 different level of the customer service told me the same thing "high demand" "schedule does change" "no guarantee" "Sorry" "Nothing we can do" "system automatically push out the order, not someone".

I felt I stay up late for pre-order just a joke to them?

Has anyone experience this push out from Nov 3rd to Nov 17 - 24th like me? No one at Apple knows what was going on other than give me the excuses above ...

Hello,

I understand your frustration and I'm sure you want to get your hands on the brand new iPhone X.

One of the possibilities is that a supply shortage is causing the delivery of your device to be pushed.

As you might have heard the iPhone X is shipping with limited supply and it might be expected for some users to have a different delivery time and for the device delivery to be pushed.

What I recommend is to get back to Apple on the 10th of November and see if you can arrange an in-store pickup if you have an Apple Store near you.

Regards,

A.C

Lots of us ordered, I mean lots, like millions and millions of us ordered as soon as pre-orders came online. One of our phones won't arrive until the first week in December. So, you'll just have to be patient and wait till your order comes up for shipping. And you were told the truth, schedules change and your order will be delivered in the order it was received in the system. If you were looking for sympathy, you're not going to get any. You'll get your phone, that's the good news.

rbrylawski is absolutely correct. Don't expect any sympathy here. Your iPhone will arrive - eventually.

I had my hands poised over two different keyboards awaiting the online Store opening. I'm a fast typist. As soon as the Store opened, I saw the Nov. 3 date and started quickly entering my order. I completed the order in less than five minutes. I am due to get my iPhone X between Nov. 17 and 24.

It will happen ... and all the other comments you reference; e.g., "no guarantee" apply as well.

Both phones ordered were 256GB silver. As to whether 64GB is enough, I

imagine for many it would be. I felt that for $150 to get 4 times the

memory was a no-brainer.
