is it possible to use paypal on japanese itunes?

i make in-game purchases on japanese apps occasionally, so i'm wondering if its possible to use paypal on japanese itunes, as paypal is available for the u.s. itunes store. buying japanese itunes cards from online retailers is more expensive then purchasing it straight from the app.
