Downloading video on Safari

Hello all. I've recently switched from the Firefox to the Safari 11.0.1 browser. On Firefox, I used an extension/plug-in called Ant.com to download videos played on the browser. But Ant doesn't make a version for Safari. And I can't find any Safari extensions that do this. There have been discussions on this site involving this issue in older versions of Safari that involved an "Activity" choice on on the Window menu, or typing Command+option+A. But that doesn't work on this latest version of Safari. Suggestions?

Ha ha . Funny. "must be an easy way." You haven't spent much time looking on videos, reading comments, countless forums chats for what always seems to be an "easy" question. "Just" and "simply" are the two favorite words on the 'net. I'd love to have the answer to this as well. I "Just simply" need to download a vid my web designer created for me to reference when I'm adding content to the site. 45 minutes later I still "just simply" want to download it. :-)
