Camera icon missing on iPhone 7 home

I am able to use the camera on my iPhone 7 (iOS 11.1)... No problem!

However, I cannot access the camera via an icon on the home screen as the icon is missing!!!

All I want to know is how to replace the camera icon on the home screen. It used to be there!

Hi nkh,

I understand that you're unable to find the Camera app on your iPhone. I'm glad that you've still been able to take pictures, but I can certainly understand the inconvenience of not having the app readily available on your Home screen.

It sounds like the Camera app may just be hidden in a folder or on another Home screen. Please search all of your folders and additional screens by swiping left on your Home screen. If you're unable to find the app using this method, I recommend that you reset the home screen layout. To do this, navigate to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Home Screen Layout. Keep in mind that you'll need to reorganize your apps if you choose this approach.

Thanks, Becky...

I couldn't find the cameraicon anywhere on Home Screen. However, a "reset" did restore it! I've no idea how it originally escaped. 😕
