Before High Sierra, iCal printed calendars in landscape mode, one month to a page. Now the print function is set to portrait mode which cuts a month in half and produces a useless print. How can I reset iCal to print in landscape mode? I can not find anything in the various print settings that allows me to do this.

do your printer drives allow portrait and landscape with other applications on your Mac outside of iCal? If not update your drivers from the manufacture so they are compatible with the OS, but if so I recommend resetting the printer system as suggested.
Even resetting the printer system did not solve it for me. I was able to open the printout in Preview, and use the landscape model, but only in a user account with Administrator privileges. Doing it in my standard account without these privileges did not work. This is very annoying!
Reseting the print system seems to have cleared this problem. Thanks. Easy to do; 5 minutes max.

The problem is that there is no orientation button or setting on any of the print screens. This is true for all my printers. So I am unable to change from the inappropriate portrait mode to landscape. Short of reseting the print system I don't see anything that answers this in the Apple articles. Is there a bug in the High Sierra/iCal combination?
iCal is the only application that has this issue. Are you suggesting a full reset of the printer system or will just deleting and reinstalling a printer work?
I'm not making promises but the print reset is a very common and effective way to rectify an number of printer issues when other troubleshooting attempts fail to do so.
I found that under presets mine was set to last used settings. I changed it to default and that fixed the problem. I'm guessing the last used setting was set to portrait causing it to print in portrait. I would think that if the last used setting was landscape then it would have printed in landscape. Oversight on apple's part to not have an option that allows you to change it within the iCal print screen.
