I have an Apple TV 4K plugged into a Sony 75” 940E. I am using a 1 meter Certified Premium HDR HDMI Cable.
I have it set to HDR 60hz and to not fall asleep.
After some time I turn on the tv and the Apple TV 4K starts to flash on for a second, then the TV shows “no signal” for 2 seconds and this repeats until I reboot the Apple TV 4K, then all is normal.
Anyone else experiencing or has experienced this issue?
It continues to do it. I have noticed when it flashes the screen saver, it changes the screen saver every time it does so. See Dunes for a second, TV says no signal, comes back on and flashes a city screen saver, TV says no signal over and over until Apple TV gets rebooted.
I just bought the Apple TV 4K and mine is doing the exact same thing. It has to be unplugged for it to stop doing it. I have mine set up to go to sleep in one hour and it’s not going to sleep.
I have it hooked up to a Sony 4K UHD tv with a 4K HDMI cable. Any help on this would be appreciated.
Having same issue and tested with two Apple TV 4K units.
Using Sony Android 2017 tv set.
Apple TV 4K Beta SW 11.2.5 with no impact.

I have two 4K Apple TV's and they are doing the same thing. Same settings for sleep mode. 1 Hour and it won't go to sleep. Have to reboot both each time I want to use it.
I have the same issue. Sony 4k HDR 60hz with 4:2:2 and flashes. Having to unplug once a day to use.
I fixed it by setting the screen saver to never turn on and for the Apple TV to never go to sleep. Now it never has an issue when I need to use it. Pretty lame.
