After updating my Iphone SE (32Gb) I went to check for the WiFi calling on the Settings-> Phone and the WiFi calling option disappeared. I did a complete reset of the phone thinking it was the update to iOS 11.1 that messed it up, but after talking with Apple Support for nearly 50 minutes and resetting the phone via iTunes - the option is no longer there. Can anyone shed some light on why this option disappeared or moved?
Check with your carrier and make sure there was no carrier update that removed that function. The carrier is the one that supports wi-fi calling, and see if the problem is on their end. Like FoxFifth, mine is still there. I'm with AT&T in the US.
I am with Consumer Cellular/T-mobile. No changes just think somehow the update got mangled when doing OTA update. Won't go back to AT&T, had baaaaad luck with their flip phones, sliders & android.
You do know that you could have restored the device with iTunes on the computer and could have saved yourself the trouble of sending the device back. Also, check with your carrier to make sure there was no change in support for wi-fi calling.
On a side note, I've never experienced problems with AT&T, although I know people have had issues. People have had issues with all carriers. My employer provides a discount with AT&T, and AT&T also has excellent coverage everywhere I travel, as well as at home. I have no intention of switching from AT&T.
Tried the iTunes restore walked through it with Applecare advisor. Kept getting error 3014, tried a recover/safe mode restore also and it did not resolve the problem. AppleCare also connected via Remote Desktop and verified that I wasn't seeing things. Spent over 4 hours with AppleCare support and my service provider.
Not much help, but I can confirm it didn't move -- still in Settings > Phone on my phone with iOS 11.1.

Sorry to hear that. That particular error generally only shows up if you are trying to downgrade iOS, or other iOS version issues. Good luck with the repair.
I'm with T-Mobile and had a carrier update come through a couple of days ago but Wi-Fi calling is still in the Settings and in the top left it shows "T-Mobile Wi-Fi"
