"Account already exist" after reinstalling Mail app

I recently deleted the native Mail app from my iPhone 7 running iOS 11 since I was only using the Outlook app. However, shortly after I realized I needed it to open certain Apple specific files like Wallet files.

I downloaded the app from the app store but when I open the app it shows me the welcome screen asking me to create an account but when I do this it tells me the account already exists. However, if I go to settings I cannot see any accounts under Mail.

Does anyone know how to either get past the welcome screen or find the accounts the app claims already exists? I have tried removing the accounts in the Outlook app but I still get the same message in the Mail app

iPhone 7, iOS 11.0.3
