We are volunteers here, who try to help other users like yourself. We have no access to Apple management or its decisions about expansion. As of now there are no Apple stores in Zambia; there are a few authorised resellers, notable amongst them is the iStore group, but they are private stores who have an agreement to sell Apple products.

Hello.

As I tried to explain at the beginning, we are volunteers. We have no part to play in any Apple management decisions; nor do we have the ability to anticipate Apple management's plans for any country or answer on their behalf. We try to help with technical matters.

But in doing what we do, we have the opportunity to see developments as they come about and occasionally offer suggestions. Here I would say please write to Apple feedback. The more people that do that, the more Apple will consider the potential in these countries.

Earlier in this thread it was claimed that Apple have a store in Zambia's capital, Lusaka. That is not correct. The store run by iStore in the mall there is a premium re-seller. It is not owned by Apple, though it is an impressive store. The policy of running re-seller stores allows for private businesses to operate along the lines of Apple but in many countries like Africa and India it must be very difficult for Apple to monitor and maintain the standard of operation.

It will come ... but not yet a while.
