I have local TM snapshots on my SSD in my iMac and I wish not to have them.
I tried to avoid them with Terminal but it was impossible:

I have local TM snapshots on my SSD in my iMac and I wish not to have them.
Then turn off Time Machine by de-selecting "Back Up Automatically" in its Preferences.
By disabling local snapshots you will prevent Time Machine from working anyway, so you might as well not use it at all.
That would be a very bad idea though.
