my icloud backup wont turn on

Hi

Try a reboot press the power button down &menu button hold both down until you see apple logo.

If you have iPhone 7 press power button down &the side down volume button Hold both down until you see apple

Then go to iCloud make sure iCloud back up is on Then backup now over your wifi

When you charge an iphone / ipad it will automatically be backed up to iCloud.

Also make sure you have enough space on iCloud I pay 0.79p per month for 50G

Have you added any work accounts recently? Many employer accounts will change the setting to disallow iCloud backups as they don't want any company data in a private online account.

Is your iphone plugged in?

Is it connected to wifi network?

Try signing out of iCloud, restart your phone, sign in again and then try turning the iCloud backup on again. You can sign out in Settings>Your Name>Swipe to the bottom and Sign Out. Restart your phone then sign in again.

You don’t lose any content stored in iCloud when you sign out.
