My iPhone SE is not detected by iTunes.

Hi.

When I connect my iPhone SE to my PC, it is not detected by iTunes and iTunes is not opened automatically.

When I open iTunes manually, it does not see my iPhone SE.

When I run iTunes troubleshooter, it cannot find my USB-connected iPhone.

But my iPhone SE is detected by my PC. I can see it in File Explorer and I can reach my pictures.

My iPhone SE has iOS 11.1.1.

My iTunes has build v.12.7.1.14.

What must I do now ? Any ideas ?

iPhone SE, iOS 11.1, null

Go to settings down to photos make sure iCloud photos library is on & upload my photo stream is on & iCloud sharing is on do this on all your Apple devices & your pc.

I haven't used my pc For 3 years everything done over wifi.

Go to i books download ios 11 user guide &iPhone SE guide both are free.

Hi Brian,

Thank you very much for your prompt response.

I like to connect my iPhone to my PC for several reasons. Among them are, one is to back up to my PC because it is faster than backing up to iCloud over w-fi due to my low upload speed and another is to update the iPhone via iTunes because updates over iTunes are full installs, not incremental updates. I am not saying incremental updates are bad.

Now I can't do them. iTunes does not detect my iPhone.

I will uninstall and then re-install iTunes on my PC. Maybe this helps.

Anyway, big thanks.

My iPhone SE is not detected by iTunes.
