is the iPhone 5s compatible with OTG devices?
I want to be able to directly transfer my photos from my SD card to my phone. Will an OTG micro-USB SD card reader and a micro-USB to lightning adapter work?

Possibly, but it's unlikely. You'd be better off using Apple's lightning to SD adapter.
