Why is my iPhone 6 Plus nearly unusable after upgrading to iOS 11?

My phone is absolutely unusable after upgrading to iOS 11. Can I downgrade to actually used this piece of crap anymore? Otherwise I want a iOS 11 fix to come with a written apology for this abomination.
