face recognition with motorcycle helmet

Does face recognition work when you are wearing a motorcycle helmet? Also does it help if the helmet is a flip lid?

I doubt it. Faceid does a pretty comprehensive scan of your face, it's shape and features for accuracy and security. If it can't compare all of that, I don't think it will unlock.
