I was asked to sign into my apple ID for no reason

For some reason today, my phone asked me to sign into my apple account for no reason, except maybe I was approving a subscription payment. I received three calls in the AM from the same number which wouldn't answer when I answered. So suspicious calls, then my phone asking for my ID to sign in. probably nothing, just want to make sure noone can hijack my phone and then ask me to sign in.

Why does Apple not offer a security category? unbelievable... and then this is NOT disabled Apple ID. This is a general SECURITY APPLE ID question. It's never easy here.
