Email in Outbox flashes on screen but doesn't send
I can't send email. When I try, the email goes into the Outbox but then flashes on the screen every few seconds but it doesn't send. How do I fix this?
iMac, macOS High Sierra (10.13.1)

If major issues are in the mail application , delete the account and once again configure Set up Mail with email accounts - Apple Support
Also make sure you have high network speed , the attachment size also counts .
