my CD won't import songs all the way

I'm trying to import a CD onto my mac, but for 6 of the songs, it won't import them all of the way. it will only import like 45 seconds of a song. I've tried restarting the computer; ejecting the CD, wiping off, and trying again; and importing the songs one a time, but none of it works. I've also tried to change the import settings, but it still doesn't work. does anyone have any ideas????
