How can I get Bootcamp on a 4 TB Drive?

I have seen a number of older threads on this subject,but thought I'd see if there is any new information about it.

I have a 27" iMac, late 2013 I believe. It came with a 3 tb drive that I had a Bootcamp Partition. Well, the drive dies and I had a 4 tb drive installed and now Bootcamp will not partition the disk. Is there still a disk size limitation for Bootcamp? IF so, Is there a simple workaround for getting Windows installed on my Mac. This is my office and I need Windows as we

windows does not support being installed on what it view as external storage

and bootcamp don't officially support it


you can use a virtual machine where you of cause device where the location of the virtual hard disk is placed

oracle has a free virtual machine called virtualbox


or you can attempt to use ninja tricks to trick bootcamp and windows
