Since upgrading to High Sierra and the latest Pages update whenever I try to print I am forced into landscape. The setting are all set to portrait in both Pages and the printer.

Please say exactly what version of Pages and exactly how you are "forced into landscape".
You have no other option available in the Print Dialog? What size and orientation is your document, and what printer are you printing to?

What exactly happens when you try to change the orientation in the Print dialog?
The alternative orientation is not visible? It is greyed out? You click on it but it doesn't change?
You are aware that portrait and landscape are only orientations to the print feed direction, not actually tall/wide?
Have you tried changing the Binding Margin?

The option to change the orientation in the print dialogue does not exist. I am. The problem is that Pages only wants to print in landscape. it does not seem to recognise portrait as and option when printing. I can select portrait or landscape from the document bar of the right which changes the screen and alters the document as you would expect. I created the document in portrait so it looks correct. Only when I try to print does it revert to landscape in the print dialogue. There is no binding margin to change. Thanks

Pages v 6.3.1. When I select print it only provides the document in landscape and will only print that way. I cannot change to portrait. The document shows in pages as portrait.
Sorry forgot to add. The document is A4 and the printer is a Toshiba e-Studio287CS

Have you checked for a new Printer driver from Toshiba's website?
And do you have another printer to check against?

Hi, just deleted the printer. Dowloaded the drivers again and reinstalled. That has fixed the problem. Thanks for your help.
I'm having the same problem in the opposite way.
When I try to print in landscape my pages are printed portrait with only half of the page (the other cut off).
This is beyond irritating.
I deleted the printer from the menu and reinstalled it. That solved my problem. It seems that the upgrade caused a blip.
Why can't I print in portrait from pages now I have updated to High Sierra
