I download MacOS High Sierrae and it's not working

I download MacOS High Sierra and it's not working. The system opens a windows saying that macOS could not be installed on your computer and it says to quit the installer and restart the computer, I've done this several times but it doesn't work and I have no access to the computer and I can't do anything. Can someone help me ? Thank you.
